GreenHopper 5 – Simple and fast agile planning
Last week at Atlassian Summit 2010, we proudly unveiled GreenHopper 5. This is biggest release of our truly agile project management tool since bringing it into the Atlassian family one year ago. In that time, we have added over 10,000 customers of GreenHopper making it one of, if not the, fastest growing agile planning tool out there.

The "experts" recommend Jira and GreenHopper
A few months ago, an interesting question appeared on the LinkedIn discussions for the Agile Alliance: Any recommended tools for Agile and Scrum based software development? Since this commentary very much represents the pulse of the community, I planned to do an analysis of the “experts” recommended tools for agile and scrum, but Udayan Banerjee beat me to it. Nevertheless, the results were quite impressive with Jira and GreenHopper leading the way. Here’s my take as to why.. what’s yours?
Game Development Survey 2010 Results

Jira 4.0.2 now available
I’m happy to announce Jira 4.0.2 is now available for download. This minor release contains over 40 bug fixes and improvements including improved stability of Jira gadgets in Confluence and support for WebLogic 9.2.

2009 State of Agile Development
VersionOne recently published and distributed their State of Agile Development survey. Lots of very interesting data points worth reviewing. The most notable being the specific tools currently used by respondents of the survey: Jira was the leading development-specific tool — used by 24% of respondents!
