Fisheye 2 Beta Insight – People and Teams

With all of the announcements and activity surrounding Atlassian Summit last week, it’s easy to lose track of all the details. Atlassian Clover wins Duke’s Choice Award at JavaOne 2009

Last week at JavaOne 2009, Atlassian Clover received the Duke’s Choice Award for Java Technology Tools. Clover was hand picked by the Father of Java himself, James Gosling, for it’s revolutionary Test Optimization capabilities. The Duke award was presented to Brendan Humphreys, Chief Code Poet and Technical Lead of the Clover development team as part of James’ Java Toys keynote at JavaOne 2009. Principle developers also include Slawek Ginter, Nick Pellow, and Michael Studman. Congratulations to the entire Clover team!!

Fisheye goes social, Crucible introduces iterative code review

As announced by Mike Cannon-Brooks today at the Atlassian Summit keynote, the upcoming releases of Fisheye 2 and Crucible 2 have each gone through a massive UI overhaul. There are so many new features, I can’t possibly list them all. You pretty much just have to play with them yourself.. Fortunately, we have made the public betas of both Fisheye 2 and Crucible 2 available for you to do just that. Check out the public instances or download the betas today!

Atlassian Eclipse Connector 1.0 released

This week we officially released the Atlassian Eclipse Connector 1.0 after wrapping up our 2-month beta. Thanks to a little help from Tasktop, makers of Eclipse Mylyn, we have created the Atlassian Eclipse Connector which builds upon the existing Jira Mylyn Plugin to add integration with Bamboo, Crucible, and Fisheye.

Bamboo plugins for Git and GitHub

bamboo icon.pngIn just the last few weeks, there have been several great developments for Atlassian Bamboo users looking to move their source to Git or GitHub. What started as a FedEx project for Don Brown, our Integration Architect, quickly evolved into the Bamboo Git Repository Plugin thanks to the help of Juan Alonso “slnc” and several others. Now, Andy Pols has stepped up with a GitHub Repository Plugin.

For only $3.99, you can now get instant updates on your build status including detailed build results. It can even support multiple Bamboo instances. This is not just a simple dashboard app, you can actually invoke manual builds directly from your iPhone..
