It’s wild to think it’s only been a few months since we launched Teamwork Collection at Team 25 in California. Since then, we’ve seen all kinds of teams jump in—using Jira, Confluence, Loom, and Rovo together to get work done in ways that just weren’t possible before.
We’re moving from an AI-adjacent organization to an AI-native organization. That’s why we’ve secured Teamwork Collection. We’re incredibly excited about Jira, Confluence, and Loom, supercharged by Rovo, and are challenging our team to really look at how we can unlock productivity gains through the System of Work.

Within Atlassian’s System of Work, Teamwork Collection provides the common language for all teams by bringing together Jira, Confluence, Loom, and Rovo in a core collaboration stack.
What’s in Teamwork Collection?
- Jira provides a system of record for work, enabling all teams to plan, organize, and track tasks and workflows.
- Confluence is the collaborative workspace for human and AI teammates.
- Loom is the glue that keeps information flowing between teams through video communication.
- Rovo brings AI directly into workflows, surfacing context and driving faster outcomes.
Since launch, we’ve been busy listening, learning, and building. Today, I’m excited to share some of the latest experiences rolling out across the Teamwork Collection, designed to help you move faster and work smarter, together, no matter where (or when) you’re working.

Create with Rovo: From Idea to First Draft, Fast
We all know the pain of staring at a blank page, trying to turn a half-baked idea into something your team can actually react to. That’s where the new “Create with Rovo” experience comes in. Now, when you need to turn scratchpad notes into something real, you can open up a fresh canvas, describe what you want to create, and let Rovo help you get started.
Add links or notes—from internal or external sources—and Rovo will suggest the best format and even recommend prompt completions as you type. Rovo generates the content—whether that’s a Live Doc, Page, or Whiteboard—and shares it in a private canvas for you to refine, revisit, and share with your team when you’re ready, all in one click.
Move Work Forward Faster with Rovo Project Management Skills in Jira
With your plan in place, the next step is to execute it, fast. Rovo’s new project management skills in Jira help teams move work forward by automating routine tasks, surfacing the right information at the right time, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
New Rovo project management skills include: breaking large chunks of work into more manageable tasks, updating work items, adding context, and keeping your backlog organized—so you can focus on making decisions, shipping outcomes, and staying aligned, without getting bogged down in manual admin.
Assign Work to Agents in Jira
You can also bring in agents from right inside Jira to help complete work. For example, you can assign code generation tasks to Rovo Dev. And, you’ll soon be able to assign tasks to third-party agents with the right skills for the job. Our amazing partners include Canva, Box, Cognition (Devin), Cursor, Databricks, and GitHub.
Share Knowledge Instantly with New Loom Features
Without the right context, it’s hard to make good decisions. With Loom, you can record yourself and your screen at the same time to instantly share ideas, bug reports, or updates for your team. You can also record your meetings so all your videos are easily accessible and actionable via the Atlassian Teamwork Graph.
Here are a few of the innovations we are rolling out in Loom:
- Streamlined bug reporting: No need to type. Record a quick Loom to create a bug report without leaving Jira (console logs included).
- Smart updates in Jira: Rovo will review Loom recordings and suggest updates to Jira work items based on the video content (this is one of those cool Rovo project management skills we covered earlier).
- Live meeting transcripts: Transcripts are generated live, so you can scroll back and catch up if you zoned out for a sec (or need to refer back to an earlier point).
- New desktop app: With easy recording controls and a collaborative space for live note taking, the Loom desktop app makes running your meetings a breeze.
Catch Up On The Go With Audio Briefings in Confluence
Finding time to read through pages of meeting notes or catch up on the latest reports can be hard when you are busy (and when are you not busy?) Audio Briefings in Confluence can help. This new feature goes beyond simply reading a page word for work. It synthesizes the information on the page into a quick, distilled audio briefing, so you get the essentials fast.
It’s like a personalized work podcast, perfect for listening on the go. Build a playlist and stay up to speed anywhere, using the new and improved Confluence mobile app.
