What is Forge Quest?
Forge Quest is for anyone who wants to learn by building. Each challenge walks you through how to create something useful step-by-step with code that runs inside the Atlassian platform using Forge, our cloud development platform.
Whether you’re just getting started with Forge or already shipping apps in production, this challenge meets you where you are.
You can choose your level:
Novice
Designed for those who want a structured, beginner-friendly intro. Build a Confluence or Jira “Hello World” app that introduces UI kit.
Apprentice
Designed for developers ready to dig deeper with APIs and Custom UI. Choose between two tutorials:
- A Jira Weather Gadget App that pulls live data from an external API and renders it in the UI using Custom UI
- A Jira Issue Panel App that captures and stores user input using the Forge Storage API
Work at your own pace. No time pressure. Just practical experience that builds real skills. And because progress deserves recognition, here’s what you’ll get for completing the challenge:
