The Lightning Talks grew directly from requests and recommendations on the surveys from Summit 2009. While people appreciated the case studies, they wanted more hands-on and how-to advice. We’re bringing more developers and more staff to this year’s event to help deliver the talks and be available to give advice in-between sessions.
What else is happening at Summit?
- Birds-of-a-feather: At lunchtimes on Thursday and Friday, we’ll help you network with customers like you by arranging tables by product and industry.
- AtlasBar: Based on Apple’s Genius Bar, we’re staffing our own advice desk so you can talk with our Support team, sales engineers, and developers about your tools. It was such a big success last year, that this year we’re adding more staff to help support it.
- Charlie Lounge: Talk with our experts about Jira, Confluence, DVCS or any number of topics in a casual environment.
- The big bash: Who doesn’t like a party? And look for a special emcee at the event… it’s something you don’t want to miss.
- MySummit, MySchedule: Hopefully after registering for Summit you also registered for My Summit, the social networking tool that allows you to start meeting other customers even before you arrive in San Francisco. If not, now’s the time to do so. In addition to networking, you can also build your schedule. The agenda builder is mobile; you can view it in your smart phone when you get to the conference.
Is Summit really sold out?
Unfortunately, we sold out early this year. There’s literally no more room in the hotel. We were overwhelmed by the terrific response we got for the event. For people that are not attending, we will be recording all the sessions and posting the video and slides on our website shortly following the event. Keep an eye on our blogs for updates.
