I’m excited to announce the general availability of Jira 4.1. This release is packed with improvements making your everyday interactions with Jira easier and faster. A few of the highlights include the following:
- Clean and simple UI – Building on the UI improvements in Jira 4, the revamped issue and user profile pages make it easier to view issue details and take action on your issues. Key information, like people
- Operations bar – The new operations bar ensures that all issue actions are available to you at all times. No more scrolling to get to operations, plus you can now view other people’s comments while commenting.
- Customisable emails – At 224 votes, the most voted on improvement in this release is the ability to customise the subject lines for Jira notification emails.
- And loads more – Over 80 additional improvements (fulfilling over 650 votes) including additional keyboard shortcuts, new and improved gadgets, new JQL functions, more admin reporting and bundled DB drivers with a shiny, new configuration tool.
Plus, we also released GreenHopper 4.4 today which is compatible with Jira 4.1.
