IT Panel: The Secret to Fast, Agile IT Service Recap
It’s been said that agility comes with awareness. When it comes to IT support, it means acting rapidly when necessary. An agile IT team is flexible. They can anticipate or quickly adapt to changing situations and improvise when faced with obstacles. When urgent issues come in, they need fast answers. Often, managers aren’t notified right away, resulting in lost time. Other times, domain experts need to get involved and aren’t quickly reachable. Beyond just critical tickets, IT managers have a hard time leaving the office because doing so means going blind to support activity.
What Atlassian application administrators need to know about the “leap second” bug lurking in your systems
A leap second is a one-second adjustment that is occasionally applied to UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) in order to keep its time of day close to the mean solar time. The most recent leap second insertion happened on June 30, 2012 at 23:59:60 and caused disruptions in computing systems all around the world.

Because Atlassian went from one small team in Sydney, to over 1,300 people […]
Meet the original San Francisco TAM
I’ve known Adam Saint Prix since my first day of work at Atlassian and I don’t want to age either of us, but that was over five years ago! He is one of the most intelligent people I know, and unbeknownst to him, has established himself as an Atlassian knowledge powerhouse. A little over two years ago he was tasked with establishing the groundwork for our Technical Account Management (TAM) offering. Thanks in big part to him, our TAM program hit the ground running and hasn’t slowed down since. I thought it was only fair to share some of his TAM experience and know-how with our extended Atlassian family, so I sat him down for a little Q&A.

A service desk for every team: introduction
Have you ever used Google to search for something you didn’t know? Or deposited a check at an ATM (or even better yet, deposited it through your mobile phone while wearing your pajamas)? Today, self-service is becoming an expectation, not a luxury – and that should be the case if you have a question at work, too.
